Surveys say that PeoplePC has good customer support. The dial-up service starts at $5.47 a month for the first three months; then the price increases to $10.95 per month. You can also try it for free for 30 days and no credit card is required. If you want an accelerator feature and security software, PeoplePC also has a Security Plus plan (*est. $7.97 for three months, then $15.95 per month). Features include virus protection, a popup blocker, spam filter, four e-mail accounts and webmail. Given its fairly high rating and low price, PeoplePC is an option to consider if you are looking for an inexpensive dial-up service. PeoplePC doesn't work with Mac computers.
